About All India Anti-Terrorist Front (AIATF)
Founded in 1995 by Shri M.S. Bitta, AIATF is a patriotic non-governmental organization dedicated to raising awareness against terrorism, opposing separatism (including Khalistan ideology), and supporting families of martyrs and terror victims. It operates nationwide, organizing rallies, tributes, and youth programs to foster unity and patriotism.
Founder – Shri Maninderjeet Singh Bitta (M.S. Bitta)
Known as Zinda Shaheed (Living Martyr) and “India’s Most Bombed Man,” Shri Bitta survived over a dozen assassination attempts in the 1990s during Punjab militancy. Former Youth Congress President and Punjab Cabinet Minister, he transformed his ordeals into a mission for a terror-free India.
Timeline of Major Terror Attacks Survived by Shri M.S. Bitta
Shri Bitta faced repeated attempts, mainly during the 1990s Khalistan insurgency peak:
1992, May – Amritsar Car Bomb
45 kg RDX car bomb targeted his convoy; multiple casualties, Bitta severely injured but survived.
1993, September – Delhi Bomb Blast
Bomb outside Youth Congress office killed 8–9 people (including bodyguards) and injured dozens; Bitta targeted but escaped death.
1990s (multiple) – Shootouts & Blasts
Several firing incidents on cavalcade/highway, IEDs, and threats; survived with injuries, now under Z+ security.

AIATF has aided hundreds of families with advocacy for ex-gratia, jobs, scholarships, and visits in Punjab, J&K, etc. Post-Pulwama solidarity drives raised funds/awareness.

“Bharat Bachao Yatra”, blood donation camps, youth seminars on terrorism, digital campaigns (#IndiaAgainstTerror), candlelight vigils on martyrs’ days.
